Random Acts of Kindness
Today on the way home from the hospital we stopped at Chik-fil-a per Kimbell’s request. It has been a very long and tenuous 24 hours so I am sure we all look fabulous. A guy asks if he can help to which I responded no she can’t decide what she wants. Then a minute later another guy asks 🙂 I am asking K for a zillionth time what she wants when the guy comes up to K with an ice cream cone! I am continually amazed how this journey continues to show how there truly are great people in this world. He made our day and trust me it has been a very long day. …
In other good news, despite the projectile vomit and other problems Kimbell’s kidney like lots of fluids which is an easy enough fix. Her new marrow also likes Neupogen, her old marrow would have never responded to such a normal dose! IV fluids tonight and clinic in the morning
