Paige & Kimbell-
Well, we are now at day -7 meaning only a week until Kimbell gets her new marrow!!!! She’s sooo excited and smiles really big every time I tell her “new marrow in only x days!!!” Haha! She’s awesome 🙂
So, an update for the day- Kimbell has been nauseous all day from the chemo, frequently taking phenergan, zofran and adavan, but they do not completely take away the nausea. She’s finished with this chemo tomorrow night and then starts the last round of a different chemo that doesn’t have as many side effects. Kimbell is in good spirits and is optimistic about everything!! Good place to be :). Attached are a few pics of her from today.
On the flip side of things, Paige has come down with some sort of cold!!! What are the chances, eh?! Anyway, she was able to see a doc for it and they said Paige could be contagious for 2-3 days so she can’t come to the hospital!! 🙁 Paige, Kimbell & I are all super bummed… Hopefully she will recover quickly. Since we aren’t staying at the moldy, dirty Ronald McDonald House she has a nice room down the street a few minutes away where she can rest. More to come on the mold infested McD. House… It will make you think twice before donating after you are the pics. Yuk- those places are awful for BMT kids.

Praying Paige gets well quickly and can be back with you all at the hospital. Kimbell looks so pretty in pink and purple. Nice to see her sweet smile!! Praying for nausea to pass.
