Day +41
Kidneys 🙁 seem to be the theme lately. They are really unhappy so now K gets fluids for 2.5 hours twice a day now… This landed her back in clinic again tomorrow. 🙁 Her CSA levels are low so now she gets to take 5 CSA pills at night. In other news the wheelchair people finally dropped off her wheelchair and she barely fit in it, no actually she doesn’t fit in it at all so we are supposed to get a bigger one tomorrow… This is the same wheelchair we were supposed to get two weeks ago.
On a positive note we got a bigger fridge from the Sheraton so we now have room for all the meds! The best news of the day is a dear friend hooked Kimbell up for her birthday. I can’t wait for next week!

Kidneys are “dumb”, I’ve been told. The first to react and the last to bounce back. But they DO, it’s just a matter of time. Keep staying away from Hotel Amplatz (or Hotel U of M, or whatever the heck they call it now)!
