Good evening…. a quick update for you on Kimbell. She has been doing ok over the last few days, but has had some issues so we haven’t had much time to post. Vomiting and nausea have largely dominated the hours when she’s awake and she’s had quite a few seziures lately. 3 yesterday alone. Today was pretty good…she got to go to the hotel for a few hours and loved getting out of the hospital. The docs say she’s ‘doing well’ in comparison, so we’re getting out on Wednesday supposedly. We should know more about that tomorrow morning.
Today the docs ran a DNA something-something test on Kimbell that takes 3-7 days for results. This will tell us if the marrow is Kimbell’s or the Donor’s and what percentage of each. Her counts have dropped back below 1,000 for the ANC so she’s getting neupogen starting tonight… fortunately she hasn’t gotten an infection even though she’s really stuffy in the nose.
We will likely be changing hotels soon so the Residence Inn address will no longer work as of August 1st. I will post a new address as soon as we get one at a new location. Thank you all so very much for all of the cards, gifts, texts, emails, posts, prayers, etc. the list goes on and on. I cannot tell you enough how much we truly appreciate all of you. God Bless you.

I feel like such a bad person not calling or texting etc. But I hope you know how much you are in my prayers every single day. All of you. Hoping Kimbell will get over this nausea and vomiting. I don’t know what to hope for the bone marrow for her. Just know we are all praying for ALL of you at this time.
I am praying that you see light at the end of this tunnel and K is feeling better , you are always on my mind
Out on parole for a few hours – must have felt great for Kimbell! Praying for her seizures to stop, counts to go up, and no infections. We love you guys!
Hang in there K! The seizures will end and you will have new, beautiful bone marrow soon!!
Love ya’
Dr. Skelly, Miss Cheryl, and of course Olivia
Thanks for the update. Continued prayers…think of you all on a daily basis. This tunnel better hurry and have some light at the end of it…then the good times roll! xxooo
Still thinking and praying for you. Sophie is madly working on her gift – 2 hats finished already.
