Update for Wednesday
Well, I delayed posting because I wanted to post good news. Not that we have bad news, but UMN had asked for donor clearance on 5/27. Today I got a call from day surgery saying your daughter needs to be here… So we thought the donor cleared, no 🙁 They schedule everything in anticipation that the donor will clear. After a few phone calls we found out that the donor needs additional testing but they still think she will clear. If she doesn’t clear it could be another three months which would not be good for Kimbell since they say her chances go down each month. So we will pray more!
We have had such a wonderful time on this trip. Every time we think it can’t get any better it does. We have met some of the most thoughtful, sweet, gracious people who more then make up for the horrible man at Downtown Disney who had me in tears. Kimbell had breakfast with Stitch and friends yesterday morning which brought tears of joy (boy am I an emotional mess!), and VIP seating at the new Disney parade which is amazing (K would have never made it in that heat sitting and waiting). The night before we met an awesome cast member at Belle’s Enchanted Tales and get this…. Kimbell was the Beast! K has never done anything like that oh and I was “Madame Armoire” (haha). Back in February when Kimbell found out she was going on her wish trip she immediately tried getting reservations for Be Our Guest so she could take me, (Beauty & The Beast is my favorite) so Thursday we went to validate the time because something else had been messed up and they said we missed our reservation. Kimbell was crushed. Two days ago while riding the people mover for the 3rd time she said lets check reservations one more time. There was a 7:10 time open!! This is one of those places that you never get into. She was soooo excited last night when we went to “Be Our Guest”, it was awesome. On the other hand poor Stitch (her service dog) was scared to death of the Beast 🙁 As we are leaving dinner a cast member asked if we were there the night before… Turns out that she is the roommate to the cast member from Belle’s Enchanted Tales that casted Kimbell as the Beast. We had given out one of K’s cards that says “Thank you” and the cast member had been talking about Kimbell all night! It was so awesome to know that Kimbell had touched someone’s heart as much as she had touched ours! Needless to say we got lots of hugs, great conversation and another run at the attraction 🙂 We loved it!!!!!!
Today was Busch Gardens! They were wonderful to Wish families and it was a blast. All I can really say is they have a lot of roller coasters and I felt like I was going to throw up all the way back to Orlando. Kimbell rode some multiple times and I will never know how!

Sending love and prayers you’re way. Praying for the donor to clear soon. So thankful you all are having a blast and making wonderful memories for Kimbell to talk about when she gets home from the BMT.
A Wish trip is magical!! It is one of my fondest memories and I will forever cherish all the smiles and fun my kids were able to have! I am so happy for you guys! Keep on enjoying each moment. Will send prayers the donor clears quickly! I wish Doctors would stop ‘anticipation’. My heart has broken so many times with their anticipations. sigh…sending prayers as always
