Kimbell’s counts are improving!  The ANC is now coming up which is huge deal and extremely exciting.  Kimbell has more neutrophils than what she was born with!!

The bad news… her stomach is continuing to be a problem.  She is on anti nausea meds 24 hours a day and we increased her pain meds.  Additionally she is bleeding again – a lot.  Please pray for her strength, peace, for those cells to keep growing, and for her stomach pain to subside.  Kimbell never stopped eating completely during the mucositis so it is so hard to watch her not eat at all anymore.  She will eat some popsicles but even those have dropped off significantly.  This is a long journey and she is exhausted.  She sleeps most of the time so to spend those precious awake hours bleeding… well it’s not fun for anyone.

Today we had three visitors to the hospital from TX!!  This morning we awoke to Dr. Armstrong and Anne’s mom!  What a pleasant surprise and how nice of them to visit on their vacation.  Kimbell even let Dr. Armstrong snap a picture of the two of them!  We of course had to find her hat first.  She is so beautiful without her hair, she was with her hair but without it you notice features you never noticed before.  I wish she knew how pretty she is.  This afternoon we got to see Amy.  She was in town with her family, new fiancée and baby.   She got stuck in traffic and had a plane to catch but at least we got to see you 🙂  It is so nice to have surprises.
